Free Trials
Both the Solo and Pro plans include a 14-day free trial. During the trial you get full access to all features in that tier. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will begin automatically.
Tip: You can try Solo first, and later upgrade to Pro for a separate 14-day trial of the Pro features.
How Feature Gating Works
Scout Elite doesn’t hide pages behind a paywall. Free users can see the entire app and all navigation. When you encounter a feature that requires a paid plan, you’ll see a small lock icon on the button. Clicking it opens an upgrade dialog where you can start a trial or subscribe.
This means you can explore everything before committing to a plan.
How to Upgrade
- Click any locked feature button, or go to Account → Subscription
- Choose your plan (Solo or Pro)
- If eligible for a free trial, you’ll see the trial option
- Complete checkout via Stripe (our secure payment processor)
- Your subscription activates immediately
Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from Account → Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period. After that, you’ll revert to the Starter (free) tier but keep all your data.
