Clips are the building blocks of your video analysis workflow. Each clip captures a specific moment from your game footage that you can tag, annotate, and include in team Reviews.

Creating a Clip
- Open a Clip Project
- Play the video to find the moment you want to capture
- Click the Set In Point button (or use the keyboard shortcut) at the start of the moment
- Click the Set Out Point button at the end
- Add a description for the clip
- Click Create Clip
The clip will appear on the timeline bar below the video, giving you a visual map of all the moments you’ve captured.
Working with the Timeline
The timeline bar shows colored segments for each clip in the current video. This makes it easy to:
- See at a glance which parts of the game you’ve already clipped
- Click a clip segment to jump directly to that moment
- Identify gaps where you might want to create additional clips
Clip Best Practices
- Include context — set your in point 2-3 seconds before the key moment so viewers understand what’s happening
- Keep clips focused — 10-30 seconds is ideal for most game situations
- Use descriptive names — “Power play goal - Alex” is better than “Clip 12”
- Clip as you watch — it’s more efficient to create clips in a single pass through the video than to make multiple passes
